ROSE EVENTS FOR SEPTEMBER 2012

The weather is cooling off and the roses are recovering from the heat of summer.  In some areas, roses actually have better looking blooms in the fall.

You can see beautiful roses at rose shows on weekends held across the country.  They are free events so why not take advantage of them and enjoy yourself.  Some shows have rose arrangements section which is wonderful.  You’ll have a chance to meet knowledgeable rosarians who can answer all your rose-related questions.  You’ll find out they are a nice and friendly group of people.  You may even want to join the local rose society sponsoring the rose show which entitles you to a 4-month trial membership in the American Rose Society.
