DAVID AUSTIN ROSES TO ADD TO MY GARDEN

Welcome to the World of Rose Gardening or Rose Gardening World.  Take time and smell the roses.  Roses have been around for millions of years which just prove that roses are not difficult to grow. The Rose is also our National Floral Emblem and the state flower of several states.  Here at Rose Gardening World, you’ll find rose articles that will educate you about roses – its history, rose culture, rose profiles and even rose verses all in one place.  So visit Rose Gardening World often.

As the season winds down, it is time to assess what plants you need to add to your garden next year.  If you want the best varieties, better to order early before they’re SOLD OUT.  I like to add a couple of David Austin roses to my garden.  I had quite a few of them in my old garden.  I do not have one in my new garden.  Given their traits of ever blooming qualities and the fragrance of Old Garden Roses, they are welcome additions to any landscape.

I decided to add “The Alnwick Rose” and “Carding Mill”.  Their color is exquisite and the blooms are superb in form.  “Carding Mill” is a mix shades of pink, apricot and yellow.  “The Alnwick Rose” is a delicate pink.  I ordered them yesterday and can’t wait for spring to have them in my new garden.
